THE SHEPHERD
Psalms 23:2,3 ...and He leads me to quiet pools of water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths as He has promised.
So lately, Psalms 23 has been rekindled a fresh in me. My Bible titles the passage, THE LORD OUR SHEPHERD. So I have tried to get the picture of a good shepherd and what he does. The main thing that stands out for me is HE LEADS. Now, we are in yet another year and many have set resolutions. Some are not sure what they want for the new year, some are not even sure what God wants from them this year, some are worried and some maybe confused. But amidst all this, here is my message for you, you have a Lord who is your shepherd. What does he do...simple He leads.
See our greatest challenge as believers is to synchronize our faith with His will. Many times we don't want to do this then end up treading a path that's not ours.
The beauty of this fact is that it does not just apply in the big issues that may have crossed your mind...your career path parsay but really even in issues like Bible reading and communion with Your father. Do you know that he can actually lead you to what He wants you to learn this year or even in this day? That he can LEAD you to that which you are not sure you should pursue? It only takes you to align your programme with him. See, there is what you want and there is what God wants.
May you take time in prayer to seek his plan for you this year.
