FRUITS AND LEAVES
Matt 21:19
And seeing a fig tree by the wayside He went to it, and found nothing on it but leaves only. And he said to it 'May no fruit ever come from you again!' And the figured tree withered at once.
Many of us Christians are living fig tree lives. We have leaves but no fruits. What do I mean? Leaves are significantly used to show that something is a plant or rather a tree and not a car.
Could it be that we have leaves just to show we are christians? We post inspiring messages on our social media accounts...and our profile pictures and whatsapp status gives hope yet we live hopeless lives.Where are our fruits? Can our lives make a non believer worship this Jesus that we are so in love with? Friends, this hopeless lives faithless walks...living under condemnation is what I am calling false or wrong fruits. Do we walk by the word that we preach?
See...Theres a problem when people only know you are a Christian by your facebook...
Today, my prayer for all of us is that we will bear fruits and not just any normal fruits but fruits that will befit the calling we are called to...the work we are sent to do...'Go ye make disciples of all nations...'
