|LETS TALK|: HOMOSEXUALITY #3
In this devotion, Ill be answering some of the questions you guys asked me. Some are general while the personal ones we had one on one with you. Ill handle the general ones here, incase you feel its not comprehensive enough, be sure to send me a direct message on my instagram.
Lets get to them. I pray they will be comprehensive.
Can people be born homo, scientifically and Biblically?
Biblically, we have seen its as simple as Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. The Bible is the genesis and basis of creation thus we can simply stop there. However, to confirm that everything stems from the Bible, I have done my research. I have seen some articles with Gay activists claiming gay guys are born that way, but it makes me question, what about guys with a homosexual orientation who feel trapped by such logic, fearing they are hopeless victims of a genetic fate that they want no part of. I have seen guys who want to leave homosexuality! We are not bio robots. This just states you cannot be pre programmed to be homosexual because of the guys who want out. Watch the place of environmental influences and our reactions to them. Lets assume, there is some type of homosexuality that occurs as a product of nature say being born in a home of homosexuals, does that make it normal? Nature produces a host of biologically influenced conditions such as depression, OCD, diabetes but we dont consider that normal, do we?
In spite of the many theories and even recent but inconclusive genetic and brain related research, there is still no scientifically accepted evidence proving that homosexuals "are born gay". For example, I saw some articles state that some people are born with bio influences towards alcoholism , criminal behavior and some other funny things and it made me wonder, are such people therefore to remain addicts or criminals?
However, you cant seek solutions to a fridge problem from a car dealer. We cant seek these answers from science simply because Science didnt create us. This is a spiritual problem. Lets deal with it from that stand point.
This is not a question but just know God loves everyone. And we should not judge!
This is also joined with another phrase from a vlog I have just watched where the LGBTQ guys respond to the religion question by saying "Most of us are quite religious and we ask God to protect us..''
Look at it this way. In the simplest way, I have this really close friend who I really love and I think among my top fears is to disappoint her or do something that will hurt her. I look at love the same way. If you really love someone you wont do things that will hurt them right? Now, we saw the other day, homosexuality is not on Gods good books, so if you truly love him, why would you still indulge in it? He loves us, but do you? Remember, GRACE AND TRUTH GO HAND IN HAND!
"How many religions are there in the world? They just cant direct it according to Christian beliefs"
I was tempted to ask which religion stands for this, but because its not about religions, Ill ask WHAT DOES GOD SAY? If you run away from Islam or Christianity because it doesnt agree with this, it simply means you are running away from truth. No matter how far you run, truth remains truth. It will eventually catch up with you.
You just cant instruct the heart to love a specific person or gender. The heart wants what it wants! You honestly dont realise when you start getting attached.
God is love. Love is God. 1 John 4.8
To say, if its actually love then its from God and it will be right. Anything other than that, is Lust! If you fall in 'love' with your father or mother, thats lust, incest! Fall in love with a dog, lust, bestiality! Fall in love with someones spouse, lust, adultery! Fall in love with someone from the same gender, lust, homosexuality! And all other forms of sexual sins. On this heart issue, the Bible tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence. Have you ever thought why?
People divorce everyday and we dont judge them. Then why LGBTQ?
I dont know why we are misusing this word, JUDGE.Correction is not judgement. However, its true, this generation has made homosexuality to be the only sin that will send people to hell, as I said, its not a unique sin. This doesnt make it any right. But id ask, if we are defending homosexuality, Why arent we defending other sexual sins like incest, bestiality and attach all these defense theories to them? Just my question,
Hi Tasha. The ones who get married argue that they wont be doing sexual sin since now its within marriage. How can you address that?
Id still go back to my dog example. If you get married to a dog, is it now right? Sexual sin is sin in its own nature however much you try to sugar coat it! Fornication is sin its own right just as homosexuality.

ITS NOT! Check the previous devotion to see how.
Yea, Tasha I get its against nature and all. But I still dont get. Why would someone go through all the trouble just for lust. Take Ellen for example, she has faced so much, to the point she almost lost her job. How can you explain this?
We have to understand, when in the world, one, there is a force higher than ourselves that is pushing us to either truth or sin. Colossians 1.13, You are either of the dominion of darkness or kingdom of light. Wherever you are, there is a higher spirit than you influencing your actions. How else can you explain a sane man waking up and killing his family or going to a school and shooting all those kids?
This is not a surface problem but a spiritual problem. The devil is using sexual sin to bring condemnation to this generation. Ask, Sodom and Gomorrah, Remember, his agenda is one, TO KILL STEAL AND DESTROY. And he is not even playing, this jamaa is working overtime to finish this generation.
Thats why I keep insisting, when we keep discriminating each other and fighting who is right or wrong, we are just on the wrong path to fighting the devil. This path is on our knees. The Bible was not joking when it said, our warfare is NOT CARNAL OR EARTHLY. Lets arise and fight this battle on our knees. The good thing is, its a victorious battle!
Tasha, you cant understand why someone would decide to cross over. Some have been hurt, some have grown up in abusive homes...and the like. You just cant throw that away.
Its true, I cant understand. But you have a Father who is a healer. Psalms 147.3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Nothing about your life catches God by surprise. He is interested in seeing you heal and prosper in all areas of your life. You just have to give your life to Him. I pray for you today!
So Tasha, what next?
First, understand God loves you. God loves us. Infact, there is nothing that can separate us from His love.(Romans 8.39) To my fellow christian brethren, if at all we are to point a generation to the Truth we cant do it outside the abundance of Grace and Mercies He out pours.
And even if you arent born again, know that God is pursuing you and His love transcends the willingness to judge. Its not a fight between you and God, but between God and the devil. Jesus is calling. He infact is just waiting for you to respond to Him and see Him work your life a transformation. Its not over for this generation! Whatever sexual sin bond is holding you, there is a chain breaker! You just need to trust Him.
