HIS BLESSINGS
PSALMS 2:6 Ask and Ill give the nations to you..
When Gods says He will give you the nations..He doesn't mean that you should go and start by asking for a village first. See, He has said ASK for a NATION wait no NATIONS! But many times we limit Him and ask for a small village first...in the name of STARTING SMALL.
When I am at home each time , back in upcountry, especially now during the rainy seasons...I notice that every time rainy clouds would appear, women would rush with buckets, pails basins and whatever else that could fetch water. They bring out containers judging from how heavy the clouds looked.
Many containers lined up side by side to tap the rainwater. All those containers of different sizes and shapes, others even dragged out drums and tanks. When the rains are over, all the containers were full of water. Big or small, narrow or large.
The owners would come out to fetch the water, those who had big containers would have more water and the ones with buckets would also have their share of water.
Now this is the same way God works. He is ready to bless all of us but what matters is what we ask and how much do we believe He can bless us. Do we believe that He can open the windows of heaven and pour out His blessings in abundance or do we try to reason that from the look of things, God can only do something to a certain level?
Let us not limit God. Bring out your largest container and watch Him fill it. Is it a container labeled, Job success good grades happy relationships peace love or whatever it is. Open it's lid and pray then watch Him fill it.(Luke 1:37)
He will!
God bless!
