THE SAVIOR by MAHANDA OGUTU

JOHN 9:2 Rabbi, who sinned this man or his parents? Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor His parents sinned, but his BLINDNESS was so that Gods glory may be seen '

These were times: strange times.
Bastard teachers with flowing gold robes of
Impunity
Self righteousness and contentedness
Walked terrorizing the living and
Quoting the laws of Moses, outdated.
Forgotten like mouldy bread.

"We are the disciples of Moses.
We know God spoke to Moses"

"But I, Iam The Messiah"

And the people lost in their rigid beliefs
Shouted
"Let us kill this man
Who is rude enough
Who is blasphemous enough
To call himself the son of God"

And
Clouded with darkness
Surrounded in sin a man still died
That these ingrates may live.

How loving, how caring, how merciful is our saviour?
