INNER CIRCLE

JOSH 2:1 And Joshua son of Nun sent of Shittim TWO spies to spy on the land even Jericho...

 Reading this scripture, I was wondering what was going through Joshua's mind that he decided to send only two men and not the USUAL 12. 12 was a significant number in the Jewish society and early times...I mean 12 sons,12 tribes,12 spies,12 disciples,12 pillars etc. remember even earlier 12 spies had been sent and only two brought positive news. Even Jesus had an inner circle of three from The USUAL 12.

Thinking of all these it hit me that to go far you need an inner circle of people who see with the eyes of faith. The usual group won't get you unusual results ! Joshua knew to get good and effective results he needed to send two men who see with eyes of faith.

It's high time we realize that not everyone in our boat is really rowing,some are drilling holes. Support does not always come from familiar faces. It's not always about the size of your circle but the loyalty in it. Everyone's plans is not for you to make it, To some you are an opportunity. 

So who are the people in your inner circle?
