BIKE RIDE
I find a lot of lessons from different things around. So lately, I have been thinking that life could be a bike ride. Life with the Father to be precise. I take it to be a tandem bike with God at the front and I in the back. I was once at the front. I don't know just when it was that He suggested we change places but life has not been the same ever since...
See, when I had control I knew the way. It was rather boring but predictable. I knew the shortest distance between two points. However, when He took the lead...I realized He knew delightful long cuts up mountains and through rocky places..all these at His speed. Sometimes it looks like madness but He still insists I should pedal. At times, I even feel like we are not moving when we are up hill. But then after some time when I look back I can see that we actually were moving.
Sometimes I become worried and anxious asking where He is taking me...But He laughs and reminds me to trust. Overtime I decided to forget my boring life and enter into this adventure fully and when I'd say am scared, He leans back and touches my hand.
Since He took over, Yes am learning to shut up and pedal in the strangest places and am beginning to enjoy the view and cool breeze on my face with my Everlasting Companion.
Trust the rider:)
