STAND STILL

2 CHRON 20:15 ...Fear not and be not dismayed at this great multitude for the battle is not yours but the Lord's
17-You will not need to fight in this battle; take your position, stand still and see the victory of the Lord on your behalf.

I love this chapter of the Bible because it has speaks to me always. In fact I would highly encourage you to go and study 2 Chronicles 20 if you still have trouble believing Gods power.
Today's word is quite encouraging and I write it as a testimony. King Jehoshaphat was going to face a GREAT multitude and he didn't know what to do. In his state of fear and confusion he went to God in prayer and God gave him a simple answer...Fear not the battle is not yours...stand still and watch me give you this victory.

It makes me wonder what happens most of the time when we are faced with a challenge or a difficult situation.
But then are you facing a challenge? A trouble? And you don't know what to do. Here is a message of hope...Fear not, Stand still and see the victory of the Lord. But get me right...am not saying you should not do anything..that's not how it works. Do what needs to be done. The King took his people to the field. The point is...dont trust on your strength and do not worry. Simply present the situation to God and see His victory. And this is what happens when you leave the battle to the Lord, he restores to fould. The Bible puts it that the enemies were scattered and they even turned to kill each other. What is even more beautiful is that the people of Israel took three days to gather the spoils of the gathering? And they named the valley Beracah..meaning blessed! Leave it toGod and see him renaming your current situation. This is a promise already presented. Walk in it.
Remember God gives his strongest battles to his strongest soldiers!

God bless!
