YOU HAVE IT

2 Tim 1:6 Hence I remind you to rekindle THE GIFT OF GOD that dwells first in your grandmother Lois, then one your mother Eunice and now am sure DWELLS IN YOU!

A story goes of a boy and his father who went out one Sunday to plant a mango tree just behind their house. The boy was elated. After a week or so, he was back to check his tree and am sure your guess is as good as mine, there was no fruit or a sign of it. He went back to his father and called him a liar. His father looked, laughing, at the young man and told him quickly, "I am not a liar. Have you done anything to the tree to expect fruit from the tree so far? Say, water it?"

Earlier today, something came to my mind that has fascinated me and I think the sooner you realize it the closer you are to freedom or you will actually be free. The truth will set you free right? The truth was, life is not a competition. Well, technically it is, but not a competition between you and others, but a competition with yourself. Quit looking at what others are doing with their lives and start examining what you are actually doing. I was listening to Robert Madu earlier, and it baffled me how he explains Gen 2:7, something that we overlook many a times, that you were actually made from dirt. However, the beauty of it is, seeds are not planted in gold but in dirt. Now if you are a Pinterest perfect person, you won't reasonate with this. But I want to talk with you all with issues: someone feeling unworthy: someone with a hidden skeleton locked up in some cupboard in them: someone afraid to start up that project: someone afraid to step out of their comfort zone. Allow me to submit to you that you have a SEED PLANTED IN YOU.

There is something in you that the Bible is reminding you to rekindle. There is something in you that is going to change you, that is going to change the people around you, that is going to change the world. People may have put you off but they don't know what is in you cause they didn't place it there. See what the one who placed it there says, 1Cor 2:9 "what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard..."

The devil hates those who have identified their gift. How do I know this? Why else would he be attacking you..
A trick to knowing your gifting... Most gifts are hidden in passions...What is that one thing that you like to do? Or that you watch and it angers you..that you want to change it?
So Go on..
STIR UP THAT GIFT IN YOU!

God bless!
