ENDURANCE
2nd Corr 12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were accomplished among you will all ENDURANCE
I am a swimmer and I love sports. One thing that I have learned in my swimming career is the art of endurance. One thing coach really emphasizes on is atleast a half kilometer swim for warm up to build up endurance. The problem is am a sprinter and long races is not just my thing. So one time during our endurance regime-train,one of my swim mates stopped and had to be dragged out of the pool by the pool attendant due to a muscle cramp. Well I was also worn out but my ego wouldn't just allow me to be dragged out and so I decided to push on with still a whooping 150m distance to go. Long story short, I still managed to finish but was very weary and had to limp for a while. But one thing I learnt is that, there are always two options: to drop out of a race pro continue moving.
It's the same thing that reflects in our Christian lives. We fall out of our race because of lack of endurance. We stop believing that there are greater things ahead and think of the fatigue at that moment. When the fatigue comes, we loose hope and start questioning our faith. However, God wants us to build our endurance. He uses this trials to bring us to completion. Paul tells us that the first sign of an apostle is ENDURANCE. Therefore KEEP KEEPING ON; GOD GOT YOU!
There are greater things up ahead.
God Bless!
