HIS PERSPECTIVE

Phil 1:6 He who began a good work in you will be faithful to bring it to completion

Looking at the story of Joseph, Iam encouraged today that Philippians 1:6 holds true. When Joseph was re united with his brothers who had sold him to slavery, he was able to say 'You meant it for evil but God meant it for good' Joseph was able to realize that God has used his low moments of life; the shame, enslavement for his good and for the sake of the people of Israel. After his release from prison he had risen to the position of prime minister; the guy was second in command in Egypt.
What makes it more interesting is that, from his pre eminent position, he could provide food for his family, the people of Israel and Egypt during the lean years,
There was not a trace of bitterness in Joseph as he spoke these words.

Many times we tend to view events in our lives in terms of how they affect us here and now but God has a different perspective: He sees how they contribute to our growth in Christ likeness and our transformation.

God bless!
