SURRENDER
Reading history, a story goes :
During the end of world war 2, Douglas McArthur presided over the Japanese surrender. During the surrender, the admiral of the Japanese extended a hand of friendship to Douglas but he refused to take it and instead said 'Sword first'. Until all the symbols were handed over, to McArthur, the formalities and hostilities had not ceased.
This same thing applies to out relationship with God. As rebels we fail to totally surrender our lives. We seek peace and extend only our hearts and outer coats that shout we are Christians on a highway to heaven but hold back the swords of jealousy,addiction, unforgiveness, hatred, proverbs 6:16 kinda thing.
Ever heard of the phrase Let go and Let God? Well it's about time we let go and let go fully.
