Going at something solo seems so much easier.
In fact getting no one involved is actually simpler.
But we are human we make mistakes. We stumble...and forget the stakes...so let me break it down for you. Accepting Christ means you accept all forms of temptations the devil might put you through. Ever wondered why Christians suffer more than non Christians?
Prob 16:4- The Lord works out everything to its proper and even the wicked for a day of a disaster.
JESUS HELP MY UNBELIEF. At times in my lowest points...when I can cry no more I end up confessing 'Lord I honestly think I would have been better on my own..'
See, once you become a Christian your life stops becoming your own and you become a volunteer in people's lives. Your needs become a second priority to others. You are expected to let go of everything...'The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life..' and so much more.. see the devil tells us everything we will have to let go, the sacrifices we will have to make, the sleepless nights we will have, the pain we will endure and what not...but this is what he does not say...I'M FREE INDEED...IN CHRIST IM FREE INDEED.
It probably doesn't matter what you do or say... He will always love you
You don't have everything it takes..He keeps loving you
When you really don't love yourself...He loves you
In spite of you..He will love you.
And yes you get bad but guess what,, he waits patiently.
The devil fails to complete these sentences and leaves you in doubt. Now I have completed them with just the words...'SUPERNATURAL LOVE.'
You wish you could be numb to the pain around you saying that you ain't strong enough but you are...oh YOU ARE STRONG and here's why...no one can stand against the King you serve and no one can ever stand against the Lord in your heart.
"Lord come be my shelter and never leave me all alone, You will be the one I call when Iam low. By myself it won't work, Lord I need your help''

Finally if it stops you from getting closer to God...IT NEEDS TO GO!
